Role: Expert Anthropological Advice

Amanda has provided expert anthropological advice relevant to the EDO’s environmental law and advocacy work, particularly in relation to Indigenous Sea Country, offshore environmental risk, cultural values, cumulative harm, and the limits of conventional consultation in resource and marine governance settings.

Her expert advising contributions sit within “post-conventional anthropology”: applied anthropological work that addresses risk, harm, obligation, and responsibility in high-stakes environmental settings, supporting stronger environmental governance and reform.
